About Founder & CEO
Ogwang Simon Peter is a visionary technology leader, community development change maker, and founder of Code Investments. He is a brilliant IT project manager and team leader who not only comes up with real-world ICT solutions for business processes but also designs the systems and closely supervises the programming team to ensure successful development of systems that meet current requirements. His passion for digital transformation in education and public service delivery is rooted in both personal experience and an extensive background in using ICT for development.
He pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology at Makerere University from 2008 to 2011. During this period, Simon began his community engagement journey in 2010 while both interning and volunteering at Transparency International Uganda (TIU), as a volunteer he supported programme implementation in Northern Uganda under the Africa Education Watch project which was aimed at stopping teachers' absenteeism government primary schools.
